JSW Energy has inked a deal with the Maharashtra government to build a 960 megawatt hydro pump storage project in the state’s Raigarh area.

JSW Energy did not provide any financial information about the planned project. JSW Neo Energy, the company’s “green growth vehicle,” has been procuring essential resources for Hydro PSPs in several resource-rich areas for projects with a combined capacity of up to 10 GW.
